Certified Event Planner Tamika Brown has over a decade of special event planning, design and production experience. Tamika – Principal and CEO of RSVP Premier Group and Chief Creative Designer of RSVP Special Events and Occasions 2 Remember - has planned numerous star-studded red carpet events, press launches, weddings, social soiree’s, political fundraisers, corporate and non-profit grand openings, galas, black tie affairs, public festivals and live entertainment events across the US. Tamika was recently honored as the recipient of the “2012 Business on the Rise” Award from the Stiletto Woman in Media at the national Stiletto Woman in Business Awards in Atlanta, GA. Other honors include - “Voted One of the Best Event Planning & Design Companies of 2011 by WDIV Local Ch-4, nominated by Who’s Who Detroit as well as the prestigious Cambridge Who’s Who. She serves as Chair of Special Events & Sponsorships for the Motor City Chapter of Federally Employed Women (FEW), Marketing, Advertising & Sponsorships for FEW-National and is a member of many other organizations including: Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), Society of Government Meeting Planners (SGMP), International Concierge & Lifestyle Management Association (ICLA), and Celebrity Access (CA). She also serves on the Marketing/Public Relations Committee for the Michigan Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding (WUW). Her client list includes: event design and consultation for the NFL 1972 Perfect Season Miami Dolphins during Superbowl XL, Powerlink, Detroit Historical Museum, First Independence Bank, Concepts Entertainment to name a few. Tamika served as the principal planner for such monumental events as: 381 Days: The Montgomery Bus Boycott Story celebrating the legacy of Mrs. Rosa Parks, Noel Night (Midtown Detroit Cultural Center) holiday festival (2006-2007), Taste of Detroit Wine and Food Festival and most recently as Chair of the first annual FEW NTP Black Tie Gala. In the fall of 2011, she expanded her brand and launched RSVP Premier Entertainment - a celebrity entertainment, talent booking and concert production company. Tamika will soon launch D’Luxe Grand Concierge - a premier luxury lifestyle management company designed to enhance the lifestyle and business objectives of savvy professionals while providing a “white-glove” level of personal service. To add to her repertoire, Tamika will make her acting debut with a small role as a career woman in the independent film “Believe Again” (Pinemotion) scheduled to be released in September 2012. Tamika is a contributing writer to Wedding Planner Magazine, DIY Television Network and several industry related blogs and forums. Ms. Brown attends Davenport University majoring in Marketing with a concentration in Advertising and Promotion.
